Fun times in Sunshine State

Greetings from the Tragically Hip Traveler!

....alright, so perhaps I'm not that hip, though I do occasionally hit optimistic notes of coolness. I wanted to start a blog about Florida travel destinations for Floridians or for visitors that want to see more than Disney from the perspective of someone fun, young and single. After having lived here 3 years I have finally decided to make a more concerted effort to experience more of what the land of Disney has the offer--the good, the bad, and the hopelessly cheesy. Most the travel books I have found--"one tank trips" and what not, never seem to tell me what I am really in store for on my travels.

So to my fellow young, perhaps somewhat hip travelers, I hope this blog might help you plan sometimes fun, sometimes relaxing, sometimes corny and always interesting travels in the land of Mickey, oranges and endless sunshine.
